I am a BC-born artist working with fibres, film and drawing. Primarily interested in exploring natural or re-used materials and interacting with new environments (“geography is destiny”); the process of creating inspires creating. I completed the Textile Arts Diploma program at Capilano University in 2013 and continue to work with textile processes such as weaving, embroidery and naturally derived colours as well as line drawing, short film and soft sculpture. Basically anything that captures my interest.  The connecting line between these differing expressions is curiosity around what it means to  grow as an intentionally conscious human in our increasingly-consumeristic, contemporary society.
